Session Overview
Having a fun day on the water is exciting for most and that was the goal for Lindsay was when he decided to start up his business, Ultimate Water Sports.
Founded in Geraldton, Lindsay's business gained traction and now offers a range water sport activities from Wakeboarding to Kayaking all along the coast of Western Australia from Broome to South Perth. Wanting to capture a range of different clients, Lindsay discovered it wasn't as easy as he first thought to cater to everyone with a 'one size fits all' framework.
Join Lindsay Cannon, Managing Director of Ultimate Water Sports has he speaks about the complexities of setting up and owning a water sporting company in Australia and the risk mitigation needed.
He also discusses how he overcome a range of issues while working with both the authorities and different clients (such as schools) to make it accessible to everyone.
